The Orange Flyer Discus has a rim that is manufactured out of high strength, corrosion resistant Zamak material- not only a truly great grip, but it will outlast and out perform any other ordinary steel rim on the market today. The GE Norel side plate is a specially formulated composite that has a unique non-absorbent quality and is the highest impact resistant material available in discus technology today. The Orange Flyer Discus in 1k and 2k meet NCAA rules and are IAAF certified, while the 1.6k and 1.0k discus meet NFHS rules.
