 Chain link fence cap solutions
Exposed chain link poses a safety problem at many modern recreation
and sporting facilities. When installed, the top edge of a
chain link fence is often ragged and sharp, creating a potential
hazard to athletes, spectators, and visitors. While some
commercial chain link is "knuckled" or folded down at the edges, we
believe that this alone does not offer adequate safety for many
athletes, such as baseball and softball outfielders running for a
fly ball. One way to help improve safety is with chain link PolyTube
caps.
PolyTube Cap™ The PolyTube Cap is
an extruded corrugated pipe that fits over standard chain link
fencing. Available in bright safety yellow and forest green,
it is an attractive addition to any field. It is UV-coated to
resist fading and cracking caused by the sun. Each 250ft or
100ft section of PolyTube is attached to standard chain link fencing
using your own or our color matched zip ties. A special
PolyTube installation tool is available to aid in installation.
Installation Tool for PolyTube Cap makes it easier
to put the PolyTube Cap on.
